I have always been fascinated by the ways that people impact, and are impacted by, their interconnected, shifting environments. I know from my personal experience and that of my family how a person’s background can shape who they are and who they become. As a result, I seek to help people develop skills and harness the factors in their lives to get where they want to go.

When I began my career in Psychology, it felt natural to seek out opportunities to refine and apply this interest in context through teaching as well as a diverse array of clinical and research activities. I received my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University at Albany, State University of New York. I completed my Pre-Doctoral Internship at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, OH, and am completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Nathanson Family Resilience Center, in UCLA's Semel Institute of Neuroscience and Human Behavior. From 2017-2019 I was a supervising clinical faculty at UCLA, where I trained other clinicians on evidenced-based treatments. Currently, I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Stonehill College in Massachusetts, where I teach courses related to child development, psychopathology, multicultural psychology, and psychotherapy.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist in California (PSY29122) and Massachusetts (11613).

In my personal time, I am passionate about traveling and visiting new places. All photos on this website were taken by me.
