I am passionate about promoting resilience in children, and believe strongly that it can be done by training individuals in children's lives, including therapists, medical professionals, teachers, parents, extended family, and other adults in topics and skills that can promote resilience. I believe that the best learning happens when a student engages with material, works with it, struggles with it, and applies it in a meaningful way.  By helping my students learn material effectively, and providing them with opportunities to apply the information in their own lives, I hope that my students will generalize that information to the world beyond the classroom and help others.

Currently, I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Stonehill College, where I teach undergraduate classes on topics related to child development, psychopathology, and psychotherapy. I also provide in-person and remote lectures and workshops in schools, hospitals, clinics, and community settings on topics related to my research and clinical expertise.
