Dr. Ernestus is a Clinical Psychologist and Assistant Professor at Stonehill College and Principal Investigator of the lab. She joined the Stonehill Psychology Department in 2019, and loves working with undergraduate students who are interested in learning more about research and careers in psychology. She is particularly passionate about mentoring and supporting students who identify as first-generation, BIPOC, LGBTQI+, or otherwise a part of an under-represented group in Psychology. Her research has focused on using variable- and person-centered methods of examining the idiosyncratic development of risk and resilience in psychological presentations. When she is not working, you can find her outside finding an adventure, reading books by a fire, or eating chocolate.

Amaya Toribio (‘23) grew up in Salem, MA but more recently moved to Lawrence, MA. She is a Biology major and recently joined the Stonehill Women’s Rugby team. After graduating Stonehill, she hopes to purse a medical degree in Hematology. She joined the lab in Fall 2021.

Lindsey Walsh (‘23) is a Psychology major and Biology minor from Brentwood, New Hampshire. At Stonehill, she is Co-President of the Psychology Society. Lindsey is interested in the relationship between behavior and the nervous system. She hopes to attend graduate school and pursue a career in clinical neuropsychology. She joined the lab in Spring 2021.
